I have been teaching drums for 30 years and am currently offering lessons in Allentown at Dave Phillips and in Bethlehem at Hawks Music Store in the Westgate Mall. I also teach lessons at my home in Bethlehem.
As a percussionist, I have been involved in training students of varying levels including school bands, military bands, college and small combination bands.
I was the former instructor of Jimmy DeGrasso, who is now performing professionally with popular heavy metal bands.
In the Navy, I was a member of a unit band performing for the President, Change of Command ceremonies and for American Embassy functions in foreign countries.
In addition to teaching, I play in local bands. I have played nearly every style of music including: jazz, rock, gospel, country, funk, polka, swing and big band.
